Stop!

(Here's the post that I was going to post this last Wednesday, but didn't get a chance to sit and properly write it...stoopid work...now that the skiing is done...and the Seahawks are going to the Super Bowl...yes I just said that...yes we watched the game...ok just the 4th quarter...and yes, by 'we' I mean Kevin and I)

So there we were...on our daily lunch walk...just the girl biped, Losi and me.

Now, I think I've made it clear...we've been with the girl biped for a few months now...and each and every time we walk Losi runs ahead doing his 'hunting' thing.  I stay close to her.  Sure occasionally I come across something that simply must be investigated and I stray from her side for a few min.  But in general my job is to keep an eye on Losi while staying close to the girl.

It's my job...and I do it well.

SOMETIMES it gets a little tough.  Like this week for example. Losi got on the smell of something and he had my attention.  The girl bi ped just kept walking...I just needed to concentrate on what Losi was after and simply couldn't watch them both at the same time.

It took 3 tries, but the girl finally caught on...when I walk in front of her and stop I NEED her to stop walking too.  I just needed her to stop...like this:

It only took a minute, then we went on about our walk...I hope I have her properly trained on this and we won't have to go thru this again.
