Photo shoot

It was a pretty day today...just as I was looking at some puddled water actually saying to myself 'it'd be cool if I could get a pic of one of the dogs in that water' this happens...ham...

Oh yeah and this happened...Biju was running around with a 'stick' that the other dogs were trying to take...upon closer inspection we realized it wasn't a stick...but a fresh bunny leg ripped off at the joint (note...not by Biju I suspect, but by a coyote and left for a random dog to find and refuse to give up)

O M G

Ok...fine...so I have an oowie on my paw.

She promised not to put the cone of shame back on if I stopped licking it...all was going well.

But then, for some reason, she decided to take me to the awful place to have some mean ladies do TERRIBLE things to me.

First...we had to go into this pet store and wait at the back on some chairs...I was really nervous.

Then...they take us into this little room where two ladies looked at my paw...I did not want them doing that...so as soon as they let go of me I zoomed behind my girl bi-ped to hide.

The ladies must have excellent vision...or my girl bi-ped is too small to hide behind because they found me right away and stuck something UP MY BUTT.

UP MY BUTT!

And, just like I tried to tell the girl bi-ped, my paw is ok.

Something about a little antiseptic spray and Elizabethan collar...which is another name for the cone of shame as it turns out.

I pleaded with the girl to not put it on me if I again promise to not lick my paw...and this time I mean it...

Cone of Shame

Somebody got a little sore on their paw this past weekend...and have licked it enough that this girl bi-ped is worried that it might get infected...so until Thursday mornings vet appt...it's the cone of shame...

Today's discoveries

1. Losi has a clear hatred for a standard poodle named Susi. I don't know what it is about her...my theory is it's because she's the only black dog on doggie row that some might say is prettier than him (because he is clearly prettier then the othe black labs...and he knows it)...but every time we see her on our walks or her biped comes to let her out his hackles go up and he heads toward her.

2. The tally now is: Losi 3, Other dogs 0. Yes that's right...he's bit 3 dogs now. In today's episode Losi was playing with his frisbee in doggie row with Sole when the other dog decided he wanted the frisbee...usually this other dogs gets the sense that he can't just take it...today he decided he wasn't taking any more of that crap...thats when Losi responded with a big fat f-you and the horse you rode in on. He never starts it...but if he other dog starts and doesn't immediately dial it down then Losi responds in full passionate force. On the up side...Biju has also bit his specific dog so the owner and I have an understanding on how vet bill reimbursement works...not that he will need it...probably.
