Sleepy n Smelly
We got to stay with Laurie for the week while our girl biped was gone. We had so much fun running around...and Laurie said it was sweet to watch the four of us pile up to sleep together. But we were so happy to see our girl biped again...

Sole didn't even protest the next morning when the girl biped took only her favorite...me...to work with her.
We went on a walk at lunch with this mentally unbalanced boxer named Sophie...she kept trying to get me to run with her but I hadn't been to those lunch walk fields in so long I was busy running and rolling in everything I could find...which was like 5 spots.
The last one was so good and goopy that I had grass stuck to me and smelled WONDERFUL...but apparently the girl biped didn't think so because she gave me a bath as soon as we got back to doggie row...like soap and everything. She was in a dress, I kept trying to tell her with my eyes that this wasn't necessary, but she kept laughing saying it was. Hope she knows in just going back for those spots on our next walk out there...

Picture this
Drop all four dogs off with Laurie at Unleashed Boarding. Introducing BuzzKill and explaining how Kyra will blatantly ignore commands.
Get them all in Laurie's house.
I walk out...to everyone's confusion (except Losi who is busy being happy after successfully licking Laurie's eyeball)
Look back to see one blonde face looking at me thru the door window.
One very hurt...frowning...blonde face.
These boys kill me.

But it's trying to kill you!
CLEARLY the guy on the riding lawn mower at marymoor was trying to come and kill you!
Running half a mile over to confront him was only being proactive.
We are your protectors! Since the bossy one seems to be self involved...and let's face it...the red boy is afraid of his shadow...it was left up to us.
And we did it didn't we...he stayed far away from you...our preemptive attack worked!
Love you - Sole & Losi
Yes it was necessary
Was it necessary to bring your rain boots from the front door into the living room...and use them as a chew toy?
Yes. I think it was.
I was home all day without you...sure I had the bossy little dog and the small boy biped there...treats, water, free access to the outside...but I didn't have you.
So when you run in for 5 min to drop off Losi and the red boy, then leave me again, I'm going to make you aware of my displeasure.
I hope you've learned your lesson.
Don't make me have to do this again.

15 miler
We did another amazing hike this weekend...
The tall skinny bi ped brought her fuzzy black dog over and we headed to the mountains again.
First it was shady...and there was a river...the girl biped brought us turkey bacon (which we get when the fuzzy nervous dog comes along)...
We hiked really high up...
But it got really hot the higher up we got...so any shady spot we tried taking a break in...
The girl biped finally got the message and we turned around and headed back down...the first river we came to was AMAZING
Then all the way at the bottom there was a really nice lake and we all went swimming...even buzz kill! This was his first time swimming and the girl biped was really happy.
But omg I was so tired...I insisted on riding in the front...did that thing where I jump in front and refuse to move...what...I wanted to sleep on the comfy seat...

Either...Or...
Either:
It’s taken 9 months for Losi to really warm up to me…the
first few months he was good as long as he was in the same room with me. He didn’t care so much to be touched…I don’t
remember real tail wagging when I just talked to him…he didn’t get up and come
over to me when asked for additional scratches.
He didn’t feel the need to be touched and sit/lay right beside me. But in the last couple of months ALL of that
has changed. When I talk to him his
little tail wags…he comes over for scratches, likes to be touching me if I’m
sitting or lying down. Much more open to
the affection.

Cuz I'm happy...
Because we are going for a hike...
Because we are NOT going to the water on that thing
Because it's just me, the bossy little girl dog and the girl biped
Because I scored the front seat from the bossy little girl dog

SUP: not OK
Took Sole on the SUP this afternoon...here's how that went:
Got on the board just fine.
Started off like this:
Sitting in his apparent 'safe spot'
Paddled around a little...everything seemed to be going ok
Got to a little spit of land where he could jump off...didn't have to ask him twice:
First sign of trouble...he didn't want to get back on the board. And since I was on the board and he was on land he decided to be a total dick about it...wouldn't even acknowledge me calling him. Eventually I had to get out and put the leash back on him and walk him into the water.
Back on and on our way again...though now I have a clear understanding that he's not enjoying this...especially when he slipped off the board and fell in the water. Luckily the leash was attached so i could guide him back to the sup and help him on board.
Now he's completely wet...and not happy.
Like frowning so much that his cheeks are sucking in when he breaths...all the time hoping:
'I hope I don't fall in again...do not like'
I headed back to shore...with himSitting as close as possible to my back legs...when a big wave came by I put my arm around him to console him...just look at the pic (he did it long enough that I had time to get my camera out)
'Do not like the SUP. Please take me home now'
Hiking Fail (aka How To Freak-out 4 Dogs)
It started out innocent enough...
We meet the boy bi-ped after his bike ride...drive to what appears to be another magical place in the woods...hop out and hit the trail.
There's even a cool stream and waterfall that the red boy, who's afraid of everything, can even cross...
But then it all goes down hill.
It's like they were walking us straight up hill INTO the dark cloud that was making the scary loud booms!!
I mean at first the red boy got scared...that's nothing new...but the loud booms wouldn't stop...and we just kept hiking up TOWARD the noise! We all tried our best to huddle around the girl bi-peds legs for safety...which apparently made it 'hard for her to walk'
FINALLY after the big rain drops and little hard hail pieces the bi peds decided to take us away from this hell.
Human interpretation: don't walk 4 dogs on the steep Kachess Ridge trail with a big, dark thundercloud overhead.
