Plus it's been a busy couple of days...and I'm really tired...and I wanna cuddle in something that smells good...to me...

They took us to the snow again!!

We drove for a long time...but when we got there...SNOW!

First, a sunrise quick pee...

Then they put these long funny things on their feet (bi ped interpretation: cross country skiis)...and we headed out for a 7 mile, 3 hr run in the snow.

It.was. AMAZING.  Even though she put a coat on me...I didn't mind, because it made me special...

Then...we went back to the cabin...and I was DONE.

The bi peds wanted to go out snowshoeing...I was not having any of that.

My paws were red...I went to the bedroom at the back of the cabin, crawled up on the bed...and went to sleep...didn't even protest that they left again...Losi was right there with me.

This pic was taken at 4pm...don't care...that was a long run this morning...and we are doing it again tomorrow apparently...

After a couple of hours running in the snow all the dogs had icy beards

What's happening here...

Yeah, my girl biped came and got me from Doggie Row and now we’re going someplace special.

Oh cool…we came to a trail…a new trail…I love new trails.

This is cool.

Huh…whatr those?

Stairs? Ok, so we go down these really long set of stairs and then we walk on the trail again.

Wait…why are we going back up the really long set of stairs.  Oh maybe she forgot something.

Yeah, now we’re going back down the stairs and then we can walk on the trail again.

What…back up?

This is not making any sense.

Now back down again?!

I’m totally confused here.

Yeah ok, up again.

Woopie…back down again.

This makes no sense…

Why are we just walking up and down the stairs when there is a perfectly fine trail there.

So…now we’re leaving?

I don’t understand you bi-ped…but I’m still happy to be with you.

 

Losi

Wasn't me.

Had a bag sitting by the front door.

In it…there were two life sized stuffed Chinook Salmon.  (gag gifts for Tay and Alyse for Christmas)

The dogs don’t usually get into stuff they’re not supposed to…so I wasn’t worried about leaving it sitting there.

Generally in the mornings the dogs romp around and play together

Chewing on each other’s faces

Chasing each other from room to room

 

Sometimes I take a glance around the corner to see what they’re doing

Like today…today I did that

Found Sole playing with a stuffed Chinook Salmon that Biju and Kyra wanted

Yelled….NO!
Swooped in and took the salmon and moved the bag

Went into the bathroom to continue putting on my makeup.  No harm done…I got there before anything damaging happened (and I had to go buy a new one)

Feel something on my leg

Look down to see a sweet black face with big brown pleading eyes looking at me like ‘yous not mad at me right?  I didn’t do it.  I told Sole not to take it.’  Desperately wanting to be pet

So I talked to him and told him he was  a good boy

Damn I love that boy. (and the yellow jerk too)

Until you see that we have an empty water bowl and do something about it.

Here's what we did while you were talking to the girl biped

We hadn't been to this dog park in too long...it's so much fun when we can play in the lake

I almost got those ducks...

Oh and the girl bi ped says to tell you she likes the new leash attachment

Took a nap on the couch yesterday...woke up to this...think they might be trying to tell me something (dinner time)

Yeah. Another snowy hike!

We have so many fun trails to show you bi-ped!

This weekend we did a 5 mile hike on a snowy mountain…it was so awesome.

There were smells everywhere…bunnies, and foxes, and deer…oh my.

 Parts of the trail had just a little bit of snow…

 Then there were these trees that had fallen…and so Losi and I walked out on them…the girl bi-ped seemed nervous because we were really high off the ground (like 10 feet!)

 Then we got down to this shelter area where the trail meets another…I claimed it as my own.

 Then, just as we got back up to where the truck was the bi-peds decided to stop to play…in the really deep snow…she made snowballs for us to chase…and we got to tackle the short boy bi-ped…

 And of course she insisted on a pic for her ‘facebook’ thing.

She says we’re going to play in the snow again next weekend!! Yeah!!

Week in recap

Monday...ok this guy is giving me attention, maybe it's ok...no barking at him

Tuesday...again, maybe the small loud bi ped isn't trying to kill her after all...I'll refrain from barking at him

Wednesday...I remain cautious, but as long as he pets me I'll go with the idea that he's not trying to kill her...and not bark at him

Thursday...nope...he's going to kill her I should bark and protect my girl bi ped!!!

Just no.

Right now I'm sitting on the couch w 4 dogs as close to me as physically possible.

They are tolerating the strange moving thing...but do not like it.

On a side note...this thing is pretty cool...except that it didn't stop to tell me the bin was full...I randomly checked and it was...
